Sydney's Burley Air, on contract to the NZ Airways Corporation, operate Piper PA42-400LS Cheyenne
VH-BUR and this machine spent a number of weeks in NZ this year on calibration duties. It returned to Australia in April leaving Kerikeri on the 14th for Lord Howe Island and Bankstown.
On 27 April it departed Bankstown for Townsville and Cairns where it overnighted and continued to Port Moresby the next morning. It arrived at Honiara 05 May and Port Vila 06 May before flying to Tonga 07 May. 08 May saw the high performance twin arrive at Rarotonga from Niue.
